De ervaring leert dat er andere kennisdomeinen (werelden) bestaan met vergelijkbare problemen. Namelijk de wereld van de Enterprise Architectuur (EA) en de wereld van Business Process Management (BPM). In beide werelden komen dezelfde elementen voor: gebruikers, processen en informatie. Vanuit EA worden modellen gebruikt om te komen tot een informatievoorziening die de gebruikers ondersteund in het uitvoeren van haar processen. Binnen BPM worden modellen gebruikt om weer te geven hoe processen lopen, waar verantwoordelijkheden liggen om “in controle” te kunnen zijn. Je kunt dus concluderen dat ook EA en BPM worstelen met nagenoeg gelijke vraagstukken rondom gebruiker, proces en informatie....
